Qualifications
Bachelor's degree
Fluency in English and French
Familiarity with materials handling and distribution
Comfortable working in a computerized environment
Position Overview
Develops and presents client data questionnaires at the commencement of the data gathering process and liaises closely with the client during the data gathering process to resolve any problems that may arise.
Validates the data received from the client for study and analysis.
Conducts data analysis of a client's operating environment, involving product variety, movement, inventory levels, storage cube, operating costs, truck fleet and delivery operations, etc.
Summarizes findings and presents recommendations in project areas affected by data analysis including:
Logistics strategies
Distribution center design
Warehouse and transportation management software
Purchasing, forecasting and inventory management systems
Operating procedures
Transportation system design
Prepares written reports and presentations for clients.
